Welcome to the Home of the New YBBW National Membership Platform. We are delighted you’ve joined our ever expanding sisterhood, where former, current and future members can connect, share, learn, contribute and continue growing together.
As a YBBW sister, you will find this National Membership platform to be an easy to navigate space full of historical and actual information. Active YBBW [University] chapters and members will be able to integrate their Organizational websites, along with social media pages and platforms. Former YBBW sisters and Alumnae will find safe space to not only reconnect with other sisters, but to continue supporting our current undergraduate sisters in a “Womentoring” role as Professional and Educational leaders, as Spiritual and Personal Advisors and more importantly as caring YBBW Sisters.
As we near our 35th year sisterhood, we hope this long overdue endeavour will be the beginning of many new and ever-lasting ventures. Stay connected for regular updates on website/platform changes and upgrades. Keep an eye out for upcoming local, regional, national and international events, especially this Summer as we launch our “National YBBW Collective” comprised of current and alumnae YBBW sisters who’s visionary leadership will help with organization, governance and the exploration of various revenue streams from membership dues, YBBW memorabilia sales to special event programming. Additionally, they’ll consider creative means to connect with other Black Women's organizations who share our mission. Yet, beyond all these exciting additions, we will never lose sight of our one goal, for the unification and edification of African American women.
